On the blog today I have a few packs of 2011-12 Upper Deck Series II to show.
2011-12 Upper Deck Series II
Ryan Miller / Henrik Lundqvist / Tomas Vokoun
351-450 Checklist #450
Shawn Thornton #441
An example of the pleasing photography Upper Deck has been including on their cards for the past several years; really capturing a moment. Seems like using photography of a players entrance onto the ice has been an overly popular choice this year - from Upper Deck, Pinnacle and the Score insert set centered around the aforementioned.
O-Pee-Chee Marquee Rookie
Ryane Johansen #612
One of several update sets included in 2011-12 Upper Deck Series II packs; O-Pee-Chee Marquee Rookies. Johansen was drafted in the 1st round, 4th overall by the Jackets 2010 NHL Entry Draft. This past season he lit the lamp a total of 9 times and accumulated 21 points in 67 games ranking him at number 15 on the rookie scoring list.
Upper Deck Young Guns
Stu Bickel #485
Stu Bickel was my Young Guns hit. Bickel suited up for the Rangers in 51 games this season recording 9 assists no goals.
Alex Delvecchio #HH19
Upper Deck UD Canvas
Sergei Kostitsyn #C164
Jose Theodore #258
George Parros #447
Another entrance card, not complaining they look nice.
2011-12 Upper Deck Victory Update
Alexei Emelin #296
Another update set included in Upper Deck Series II.
Upper Deck Hockey Heroes 1960s
Jean Beliveau #HH25
Beliveau makes another appearence in the 1960s set.
Mike Smith #308
Smith card because it's about time a goaltender decided to put Wile E. Coyote on their mask.
Kris Versteeg #376
Overhead shot of the NHLs latest journeyman Kris Versteeg.
Robyn Regehr #433
Tyler Seguin #440
Andrew Ladd #257
Dan Cleary #388
Alex Pietrangelo #293
That's the shimmy-shammy from the packs that I picked up.
The readers contest is still on until the end of the week; all you gotta do is leave a comment and you're entered to win.
Hey I'll enter the contest for sure, I love hockey books :)
ReplyDeleteI've been itching to rip a couple packs of Series 2...they got some pretty nice inserts that seem to be fairly regular pulls.
