PressTine Marketing Mystery Tear

For todays post I have for you one of those cheap 'mystery' packs put together by PressTine Marketing Inc. The pack includes a variety of 15 trading cards for a buck; from my previous experience in opening these value packs, the cards inside range from anything late 80s to the most recent releases.

Take a look after the break.

2010-11 Upper Deck National Hockey Card Day
Jeff Skinner #HCD3
I've made my money back already, maybe.  This was the outside card featured in the pack; that card that entices you pick it up in the first place.  As I didn't own this card or any other National Hockey Card Day cards from this year, this Skinner rookie was a sure bet when deciding which rack pack to pull down from the Dollarama heavens.

1993-94 Upper Deck All-Rookie Team
Joe Juneau #282
Didn't I JUST post about how much I liked these Upper Deck All-Rookie Team cards, the hockey card gods must have been listening and whispering in PressTine Marketings ear.  Pulling 90s inserts like this is a reason why I decide to pick up these cheap random packs, a little bliss came over me when I retrieved this ART.  Juneau currently holds an NHL record for most assists in a single season by a left winger with 70, a record he set during his rookie season.
1990-91 Topps
Dave Andreychuk #169

1993-94 Upper Deck NHL Star Rookie
Dody Wood #238
1989-90 O-Pee-Chee
Geoff Courtnall #111
Geoff Courtnall rookie card.

1992-93 Pro Set
Steve Smith #37

1992-93 Upper Deck Hart Memorial Trophy Winner
Mark Messier #437

1989-90 O-Pee-Chee
Jim Sandlak

1996-97 Upper Deck Collector's Choice
Jamie Langenbrunner #74

1991-92 Upper Deck
Yves Racine #498

1990-91 Bowman
Petr Klima #197
2002-03 Bowman YoungStars
Dennis Seidenberg #147
1995-96 Parkhurst International
Andrey Vasilyev #513
1992-93 Parkhurst
Kirk Muller #83
2008-09 Upper Deck Series 1
Marc Staal #71

The last card in the mystery pack was this Marc Staal from the 2008-09 Upper Deck set that I have been slowly collating by hand - unfortunately this card was a duplicate.  Great looking photograph on the cardboard though.

  1. These are fun when you get a good variety of years and sets. It sucks when you get a dozen cards from the same set.
