2011-12 Upper Deck Victory Box Break

By now I'm sure you're all familiar with the latest Upper Deck release of Victory.  I guess you can say I'm attempting to collect the complete 200 card base set, not entirely interested in the rookie sub-set although I wouldn't mind picking up the Cody Hodgson card.  Book value these cards may rack in as chump change but I find that the cards are fun and affordable.

The box brings us 11 packs, each pack containing 6 cards.  The rundown of the break is under the cut including all scans.

Pack 1

Tim Thomas #19 - Great way to start of a box break.  Love Thomas' goalie equipment.

Alex Ovechkin / Stars Of The Game #SOG-AO - I've still yet to pull the Ovechkin base.

Jason Spezza / MVP #58 - Another MVP card to add; with a total of 88 of these in the set it seems like a far cry to complete from ripping packs.

Drew Stafford #25
Rene Bourque #31
Brent Seabrook #47

Pack 2

Jarome Iginla / Game Breakers #GB-JI - Iginla is the next player enroute to scoring his 500th career goal, it's possible he may do it this season.

Duncan Keith / MVP #18
Mikka Kiprusoff #34
Patrik Berglund #166

Patrick Elias #113 (double)
Rick Nash #56 (double)

Pack 3

Zdeno Chara #14 - I recently read a little page footer in the Hockey News comparing some of the tallest athletes, Chara comes in at 6'9"  - Yao Ming is a towering 7'6", just nuts.

Ilya Kovalchuk #114
Eric Staal #36

Corey Crawford #49
Sergei Bobrovsky #139
Teemu Hartikainen / Victory Rookie #214

Pack 4

Chris Pronger / Game Breakers #GB-CP - I'm a fan off the look of these Game Breakers, maybe it's just nice to pull something other than the base every now and then.

Ryan Miller #27
Marian Gaborik / MVP #56
Tomas Kaberle #18

Mikael Backlund #35
Erik Karlsson #132

Pack 5

Michael Grabner #121

Martin Havlat #93
Tomas Vincour / Victory Rookie #212

Mikko Koivu #92 (double)

James Van Riemsdyk #138

Brandon Dubinsky / MVP #54

Pack 9

Brad Richards / Game Breakers #GB-BR
